qCella has been awarded CHF 1 million in non-dilutive funding from Innosuisse through the Startup Innovation Project. This 24-month grant will accelerate the scaling of our copper-cellulose hybrid fiber production, support the transition to roll-to-roll manufacturing processes with key partners, and enable integration of our heating technology into a customer product for real-world testing.
This strategic funding marks a significant milestone in qCella’s mission to deliver reshaped product heating solutions. By moving from batch to roll-to-roll paper-making, we will increase production efficiency and capacity—crucial steps toward commercialization. We are also collaborating closely with industry partners to ensure our technology meets practical demands and delivers measurable value in end-use applications.
