next generation heating of textiles
heated by our copper inside natural fiber composite
Our Innovation
At qCella, we impregnate natural fibers with copper and use them to develop heating pads with superior properties compared to commercially available heating wires. The pad has the proper electrical resistance across the entire structure so that it heats homogeneously when connected to a battery. Therefore, a smaller power input is needed and a longer heating runtime is achieved. A patent is pending for the copper impregnated natural fibers and for the fabrication process.
